Sydney Kauffman was my tax preparer(he's not a CPA) for over 20 yrs. at first they were very nice and accommodating . Throughout the years I had recommended many of my friends to get their taxes done there. As time went buy and his office grew , they hired a lot of inexperienced people and just used a basic program that one could buy at staples, they became rude and obnoxious . I got audited and they did not back me up or helped me with the IRS, Sydney said I would have to pay an extra fee just to look into the problem , but that they would not sign their name or come with me to the audit . I was left to hang on my own. The office manager an oriental person became extremely rude and very nasty, hence, I stopped going many years ago but thought I would still jeep my opinion. The good reviews are from their own employees.
Ps. All my recommendations also left the place to find new tax place for their taxes. If they can't back up up after an audit time to run as fast as you can from that place.

I have been using Sidney Kaufman Income Tax Services for over 10 years. My son now also uses his services. He is reliable and his fee is very reasonable. I used another accountant who charged more and did not have the wealth of knowledge that is in that office. Where else will there be lawyers available in house?You are in great hands when going to his office. Will you wait a while to be seen? The answer is yes. However, once you are in the office speaking with him, he will take the time it takes to make sure you have your taxes done accurately. What is good to know is that where ever I move I will have access to his services. You cannot go wrong!

I had used Broadway Tax years ago, when I first started working full-time after college. It was a decent enough experience at the time but I probably didn't need their help then as much as I do know.

After 8 years of multiple jobs, investments, donations, etc the help I need on my taxes has grown significantly. Probably more than I originally, thought, to be honest. BTP made some good recommendations and suggestions beyond what I first went in for that have already saved me multiples of what I paid...money I had been paying out to the government simply because I didn't know any better.

If you're on the fence or think you don't need the help, I'd suggest giving them a call and explaining your situation. If you're like me and just have too much else to worry about to do all this by yourself, trust me, the peace of mind alone is worth the cost.

I finally found the right tax professionals for my needs. Very knowledgeable and strong experience in Federal and State/Local taxes. Gave me solid advice for 2013 taxes and guided me through my tax planning for 2014. Broadway Tax team had patience and attention to properly understand my personal situation and helped me to get the right answers that I could not get for many years from other tax prep providers. I'm definitely coming back to do my taxes here for 2014 tax year. I recommend to use Broadway Tax for both personal and small business taxes.
