I normally don't write reviews, but I'm pretty annoyed by my experience yesterday (Sunday). First off, I go in looking for nut-free cupcakes for my daughters school. I go to the bakery and ask the guy behind the counter. His response was "I'm not sure, check over there" and points in the general direction of refrigerated foods. I search for about 10 minutes and find nothing.
Maybe I was just annoyed at the bakery people when I hit the prepared food section, but it just furthered my annoyance. The guy behind the counter asked me what I wanted with a big scowl on his face. I needed to get a number of things and with each successive request, he seemed to get more annoyed. Like I was inconveniencing him for wanting to spend money there.
It was my first time visiting and the prepared foods looked good. I just wanted to see what sides / salads were popular, so I figured I'd ask the counter guy. Guess what? I received little help there. The counter guy's response was "for chicken" (I was getting chicken) "whatever you want is good."
Walking through the isles were a pain. It's a tightly packed store, and I understand it was Sunday and they were closed the day before. I shouldn't have to constantly dodge workers whizzing by with trolleys full of boxes or scoot around stockers unwilling to move.
The prepared foods were pretty good, but other than that it's not worth it to go there.
Wrote this on Facebook, but figured I'd share the wealth.
