Delicious Asian cuisine. Service is reasonably attentive, and the food is delicious.

This is hands down one of my favorite sushi restaurants around.

Shintaro has the most delicious sushi I have ever eaten! It is always clean in the restaurant, and the food is always fresh. They do delivery, and pick up orders in a timely manner... Everyone I have brought to this restaurant loves it... I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food, and a friendly environment :)

Shintaro is hands down the best sushi restaurant on Long Island and I would put their menu up against the very best of NYC. My wife and I have been going to Shintaro since it first opened around 8 years ago. The food and service has always impressed. I've brought all of my extended family and friends there, and now all have become frequent customers

The menu offers something for everyone, whether you are trying sushi for the first time or have it 3x a week you will not be disappointed. The combinations that the chefs come up with are amazing and always have the freshest ingredients. Can't go wrong with any of the appetizers; my wife loves both the pepper tuna or yellowtail jalepeno, while the scallops (off menu) are one of the best dishes I've ever had. There's something for everyone on the specialty rolls, but the namesake Shintaro roll is a must try.

The ambience is simple and intimate, perfect for a small dinner but we've had great times with parties of 10+. And as said above the staff will make you feel at home.

Shintaro is a must visit for all sushi lovers.
