I HAVE USED MR.MARINO A FEW TIMES AND RECOMMENDED HIM TO FRIENDS, HE HAS ALWAYS DID A GREAT JOB, AND THE NEGATIVE COMMENT APPEARS TO BE BY A REAL-ESTATE AGENT SINCE THE INSPECTION SCARED THE BUYER LOL WOW IF THE HOUSE WAS THAT BAD I AM GLAD THE BUYERS DIDNT BUY IT. I AM GLAD MR.MARINO CARES ABOUT THE BUYERS AND WORKS FOR THEM. I WILL HIRE HIM AGAIN . THANKS YOU MR.MARINO FOR YOUR HONESTLY AND PROFESSIONALISM. SORRY ABOUT THE NEGATIVE COMMENT, AS A BUSINESS OWNER AS MYSELF ,THERE IS ALWAYS ONE THATS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE .

I am writing a review because anybody can write anything they want and there is no way to dispute it. the comment from 4 mos ago was a person I strongly warned about the property and they bought it anyway. they are now clearly upset. not my fault. 25 years 1st complaint.

I had a great experience with Mr. Sherlock. I found his inspection to very thorough and succinct. He exposed things that I didn't know existed. Knowledge is everything when making a big investment and he provided it.

This inspector was highly unprofessional and clearly out to make money in a short amount of time. His report was given to us in an unprofessional way. He missed vital things during the inspection, which cost us a significant amount of money to fix after purchasing the home. He did not report any major issues with the house that should have been easily evident to someone who claimed to have "experience." After all this came to light, he responded with irrational anger and completely became defensive. He lacks the appropriate expertise and social skills. He also appears to have difficulty politely speaking to women.

This home inspector purposely scared a buyer from purchasing a home. He said their was a crack in the foundation and it will cost $23000 to fix. We had a structural engineer look at it and he said that the crack was there when the home was first built 50 years ago. If it hasn't gotten bigger in 50 years, it is not going to get bigger. An inspector is not suppose to quote prices. If they see something that does not look right, they are suppose to recommend a licensed contractor to evaluate it. This inspector purposely scared the buyer so he can get another inspection from the buyer. This is highly unethical.
