"It has been brought to my attention The Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter's case of animal neglect with a dog "Rebel". This Animal Shelter kept this dog, Rebel, in a cage for several months while denying him medical treatment. Because of their negligence his health issues are severe. Donations were secured & given to benefit other animals while denying Rebel much needed medical treatment. An Animal Rescue Group finally rescued him in order to save his life. They are seeking financial donations from the public but this sweet dog's health issues are so severe that legal action needs to be taken against the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter's negligence. How does this happen? Your City's Animal Shelter's mistreatment of this sweet dog has been going on for months. What happened? "Rebel With A Cause" has stepped in to save this dog's life & taking financial donations. Where were you the City while this was going on? What can you do now to bring about justice for the negligence & mistreatment by the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter of this dog Rebel? Who is monitoring this Animal Shelter? Justice must be served here who can & will do that? Animals don't have a voice ~ we are their voice. Please step up & be that voice for Rebel & any other animals this Animal Shelter is neglecting or abusing."
