Monday night, slow and empty... Left a ten on the counter for the drink I had just ordered and stepped away to use the restroom. Came back and my ten was gone but no change. I asked the bartender if he had taken it and he said he "didn't remember". Like two minutes ago and five people in the whole bar and he couldn't remember if he had taken my money or not. So clearly he had taken it cause nobody else in the whole place had even budged from their seat since I went to the restroom. No one else would have taken my cash, no one was near my seat.
I told him, "I think you took it, I need my change." He denied it, so I finished my game of pool and began to leave. He called after me that I still hadn't payed for my drink. I laughed and told him he just got my money and, essentially, a $5 tip on a $5 shot/beer. He said I could either pay (again) or never return. I told him I'd be glad to do neither. If they didn't have a pool table I don't think this place would ever see a single customer. What a joke.
And every time you put down your hand on the bar, it's going to get the spilled remnants of other peoples' drinks on it. Have fun. I recommend the bar across the street, Broken Lands.
