I had a Porcelain crown placed after a root canal for my first cavity about 1 year and 6 months ago. The porcelain crown was supposed to last 4-5 years according to my insurance company, about a week ago my crown cracked, my gum bled and I experienced a significant amount of pain. My insurance changed from a PPO to a HMO, and Dr. Shapiro and his staff turned me away and will not fix my crown. This is the worst experience I have ever had. STAY AWAY.

Dr Shapiro is extremely rude. I spoke with him on the phone and he was brash and offensive. Some of his staff is sweet but I would never go to this practice because of him.
