If you are looking for a basic diner you have found your spot. Classic fare. Nothing crazy, but this is no hipster hangout. Totally recommended.

I ordered the thick french toast and they were unimpressive. It seems they are not made to order. The eggs were done as ordered. And the pancakes get a 3 out of 5.

This is a hidden gem in Forest Hills. One plus is that it has a huge complimentary parking lot. The food is consistently good. There is a huge selection of items to choose from. The lunch menu is a complete meal. The luncheon includes choice of soup, salad, choice of several entrees, choice of a few desserts, and a non alcoholic beverage. The food is very good. They have some unique selections: like gefilte fish and chopped liver, among other items, Breakfast was really good here. I had the challah French toast. Delicious. I had it with blueberries and syrup and powdered sugar. Coffee is great. Strong and hot. Our waitress was super sweet. Very nice lady and very friendly. Prices are moderate.
