I had dinner here with my wife and another couple. I ordered the Sunday Sauce pasta, which was not good. The pasta was dry, the 1 and only sausage was not good, meat ball was ok, the braciole was inedible. My wife had the filet of sole. Which made her sick. She was in bed and the bathroom Saturday night after dinner and the whole day Sunday. I ordered the frutti bosco dessert , which I have gotten in many restaurants before and it came out frozen, the whipped cream that accompanied the dessert was sour. I called the next day to speak with the manager BRIAN about the fish that made my wife sick and he brushed me off the phone by saying that he will check the freezer. If you claim you have fresh fish then why is it in the freezer? He was not compassionate to my wife’s situation that she was up all night getting sick in the bathroom and the next day as well. I did not even tell him about my dish and the dessert issue. I would have appreciated a little more customer courtesy from him. I will now call the department of health to make sure his refrigeration is correct and that they are handling the food correctly.
This food in this place is a disappointment. This place is definitely NOT a good Italian restaurant.
The place itself is nice. Our waiter, George was very nice! The hostess was very pleasant and the busboys were great.
Try Giulio Cesare Ristorante in Westbury if you want GREAT Authentic Italian food, Homemade pastas and Homemade Desserts.
I am writing this review because the manager BRIAN was rude and disrespectful.

I had the most amazing salad for lunch!
I think they call it the 7th street salad, with walnuts, gorgonzola cheese and cranberries.
With salads like these is easy to stick to a diet.

Great location with ample parking. Restaurant was good and although no real complaints I just dont think it was worth the money. Maybe I am wrong but felt it was too expensive and would just pick a different place for the money.

The service was okay but our server's shirt was splashed with food, which was very unappetizing. As for the food ... when the standard vegetables that come with your dinner look and taste microwaved, you know you can't expect much. The skirt steak I ate was oversweet and not cooked properly. The green bean side was half over-cooked and half under-cooked (and it is not that hard to cook a green bean). The scalloped potatoes were heavy and greasy. That seemed to be a theme, through the appetizer to the main course and the side dishes ... heavy, greasy, oily. Even though the main was 25 dollars, we could not switch the standard vegetable side for the broccoli rabe we wanted, so we had to order it separately, and even that was not worth it -- oily, bland, overcooked.

Definitely would not go back. I don't know who is cooking the food here but it's not a real chef ... either that or the chef doesn't care. The food is uninspired, greasy, and mis-seasoned.
