I wish I had read these reviews before I brought my clothes here.
I brought in two tops, explained what repairs I wanted and asked the price. They said they needed to look it first and proceed to take the seams out of top one (a simply poncho styled with single side stitching. After taking the stitching out (meaning I can’t wear it at all now), they said it would $20 to fix it. This is a lot more than what I would pay at my Park Avenue tailor and I said no thanks.
Top Two: silk top with open slit arms needed tears on the arm pit area fixed - Again $20. They request $10 up front. They used heavy black cotton to ‘patch’ the tears - on the sleeves of a light weight light colored silk top- what were they thinking???? They are rude, expensive, don’t know how to fix clothes work and in my case actually ruined my top.
