STAY AWAY, SCAMMERS...THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. This is the worst Uhual place ever, the worst experience i never had a problem renting a Uhual from other company in the past. The guy there was nasty, rude and unprofessional and screaming and the lady as well. I called to complain about this and what happened to my original rate and I was treated like crap. I was ripped off when we went to rent the van they said anything over 75 miles we will be charged 95 per day use and 75 miles included and any extra miles is .39cent, this is the reservation I made online, they said they will give us the best rate. When we got the van they said we had to pay $11 for insurance cash we paid. We wanted to return the truck the same day and the guy told us they do not have a drop off box and to return it the next day and we will not be charged, we parked the van on their block and bought keys to them the next day. When we got there they said we had to pay $20 cash for extra day, my brother paid it, I come to see they charged my credit card $60.38 plus $133.58. when they emailed receipt they charged .99cent per mile, $22 for insurance again, and $39.99 for van, security fee, rental tax. This company is fraud and are scam artist. I will never rent from them again. They are unprofessional. Who pays over $200 for using a van for a day. I will contact the main Uhual office so they can be aware of this.

RENAME YOUR BUSINESS TO "INSENSIBLE" !!!! PAUL is not customer oriented person. He is arrogant, conceited and does not know how to empathize to customers. A piece of advise, go take CUSTOMER SERVICE 101 !!! IF THERE IS A NEGATIVE STAR, you deserve a negative star rating !!! No wonder why most reviews I read about this establishment are mostly negative ... only a few were happy...

I called and told them i was running late. I got to the counter and told his assistant to go ahead and process and add insurance. While they are checking on available cargo van, I asked a general question about the additional insurance policy, the policy that is a loop hole because if any untoward incident happens, customer will pay for vehicle damage. I even specified i am not questioning your company but this ENTIRE industry insurance loop hole. While other U-HAUL charges only $0.99/mile for a 10' truck, you overpriced and quoted me $1.99 per mile !!!

PAUL went into details of insurance, all the tra lala... and i said i dont want to further discuss the issue because me being a former insurance agent knows the policy and fine print clause, the 3PL liability and uninsured motorist clause. They did not even disclose that if i have my own auto insurance, that is sufficient and i do not have to get the $11 add'l insurance...

I was standing infront of the other customer service guy whom i handed my DL & CC, and this guy PAUL gave me the insurance paper to initialize and sign, which i did sign and put the paper infront of him in a haste. Just because i put the paper back to the counter in a haste, your assistant is a liar too.. he said i threw the paper, rollback your video surveillance if i threw the paper. i slid the paper on the counter in a haste... because if i threw that paper, it would have landed on off the counter.

PAUL stood and said that he is declining to rent me a truck !!! PAUL you are such an ª$$Ϙ !!!

OWNER of this business will lose a lot of customers having someone like PAUL in your business. Yelp reviews, only 1 good review out of 6, the have to assess the performance of your employee. PAUL, if you are the business owner, you suck because you do not know how to empathize with a customer.

They are trying to charge me 2000+ dollars for "damage to the car" that they didn't see when I returned it (is it possible to not see 2000 dollar of damage to a door during the return inspection?).THEY GAVE NO WARNING THAT THEY WERE GOING TO BILL ME, EITHER! My credit card company blocked the transaction because it looked suspicious. They sent no email, and didn't notify me of the bill on the telephone. Paul who works here called me and asked me if I broke the car, I said no, and we hung up cordially. THEN my credit card company called to say that he first tried to bill 2000+ dollars, and, seeing that it didn't go through, he tried to charge $500. Conniving, underhanded, sneaky, dishonest, thief! His name is Paul.

Also, over charged for the vehicle (according to the listed prices on the website) I paid ~48 dollars a day plus insurance. The website says a compact car costs ~34 dollars a day. Given the car with a little over a quarter tank of gas, but the guy said it was a half tank. I ignored this because most people are bad at fractions. all in all, about 150 - 200 miles of driving and these_ are trying to charge me 2500 dollars. No senor.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. They are lying scumbags who will charge you for anything possible. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM unless you want to end up paying thousands of dollars for false damages. Why have a website that clearly states $33.99 for a compact car when you'll just charge $49.99? These are not good people.

Rent here at your own risk. They are polite when they rent you the car but if you even return the car 10 minutes late, you still have to pay for an extra day. They will pinch every single penny from you.
They are NOT CUSTOMER friendly.
I was supposed to return the car at 10AM on 24th Dec but was about 15 minutes late at about 10:15AM in returning the car and to my surpise was told that I need to keep the car for two more days I was late in returning the car and need to keep the car until the next business day which was 26th Dec as 25th was a holiday. I reasoned with them to even charge me for an extra day and keep the car but they said no, I had to keep the car for 2 more days because I was 15 minutes late an violated their so called contract. The guy at the desk asked me if I would be 15 minutes late for a job interview, so bad is their customer service , you can imagine !
Please do yourself a favour and rent from Enterprise or Avis. enterprise are so customer friendly that they even won't charge you if you were 3-4 hours late and they even offer free upgrades ! No wonder they are prospering . Sensible Car and truck rental. Really NOTHING SENSIBLE about it at all !
