Senior Helpers

The office staff was caring and responsive to my needs as family. The caregivers themselves were skilled, attentive, and always made my mom feel comfortable and well taken care of. This is more than a job for these people - it is a calling and they give 100% of themselves.

I am writing this again because someone reported me....I want to start by saying this is beyond hilarious that the fact that all of these so called "Great" reviews are all written within the same months. Just wanted to point that out first because I wanted to write a review. I was very unsatisfied and wasn't pleased by their work ethic. Ken and Christie (I think that's how you spell it) were very unprofessional to their workers. All they care about is money, like money fixes everything...well it doesn't!! They don't call when they let someone go, instead they have you waiting and put you on the block list on their phones. They do not care for their workers protection, instead they will try to cover it up with money. Ken is very two faced. Christie is just a knavish lecher who thinks she knows it all and when things get to hard for her, she doesn't fix it. Unfortunately, the workers that had the job loses it and she makes it a live-in job for someone else. Now next subject!!! They love Live-in jobs because they make more money off of it and workers get less! (Prices may vary) Example off of a past clients: They charge a client $240 a day for live-in, the worker only get $110 a day for live-in. So you work for a month that's only $3,410 out of $7,440 and we haven't even took out the taxes yet. Most live-in jobs are paid by the hours, some by days, but they still charge more then $110. Some of the jobs are very hard physically and emotionally. I don't trust them and since I've been working there workers have been leaving from left to right. I honestly truly don't recommend them to the point that I don't put them on my work history on my resume!!! Oh and I never met Michael Sluka, he's suppose to be ken partner.

My disabled grand aunt has been in her best spirits since our family consulted with and hired Senior Helpers of North Bergen County. Michael Sluka, the representative, was attentive and thoughtful to our needs for our grand aunt. His suggestion of Personal Care for her was a perfect fit. With our busy schedules, it is difficult at times to be there for our grand aunt. But nonetheless, the caregivers of Senior Helpers provided a level of consideration and care that made our family feel secure and comfortable, and more importantly, made our grand aunt feel secure and comfortable. Thank you Senior Helpers.

Management has a strong work ethic, is discipline and is very focused on client needs.
Its a great combination for a customer that has an immediate or longer term needs.

I recently hired senior helpers for my 90 year old mother who recently had hip replacement after a fall. The representative Michael Sluka was informative and helpful. He listened to my moms needs and made several suggestions that were right on point. He introduced us to a caregiver that he felt was a good fit for my mom and now, 3 months later the bond between my mom and the caregiver is perfect. I cannot say enough good things about senior Helpers of Bergen County and I would give them my highest recommendation
