Good! I liked seaport vet...

We have an 11 year old mutt named Smiley, who was really showing signs of her age. After much testing, the vets here were able to diagnose and treat her Cushing's, which has brought her back to her formerly energetic self.

They are expensive, but I have yet to find a vet in lower Manhattan (or anywhere, for that matter) that isn't.

The handle faxing in the claims for our pet health plan, as well as faxing Smiley's prescriptions to mail order vet pharmacy so I can save a bit in out of pocket costs. No hard sell to buy from them.

And Smiley loves it here. No matter how many tests or uncomfortable procedures, she loves to come in every day for some love and a treat from the staff.

Thorough, caring, wonderful health care for your furry family members. Highly recommended!

My cat is kind of a terror in stressful situations and Dr. Udoji and her staff took great care of him and were really professional. Great experience overall.

I brought my fifteen-year old dog, Frostie, in on Tuesday (just two days ago). It was a hard decision as me and my family decided it was time to end her suffering. I had done some researching and called multiple animal hospitals for cost of euthanasia and cremation and Seaport Animal Hospital offered the most reasonable pricing, including the elimination of the work of having to separately contact the crematory (since we decided to have the remains returned to us). They estimated the cost and even explained that there was a separate exam fee, which I appreciate because it was not a fee that I was later surprised with. During our visit, we were greeted with smiles and then was met by Ben, who at the very first introduction, we knew we were going to be in great hands with. He was gentle to Frostie and to us. Dr. Udoji answered our questions and handled the part my family and I dreaded. We were given our time and space to spend our last moments with our beloved baby. They never rushed us and afterwards, allowed us the time we needed to grieve our loss. Their kindness and sincerity made such an impact on this sad experience... I would not have wanted it any other way. I knew that Frostie will be in great hands. Not once did I worry after Ben carefully took her away. (thank you, Ben) Too bad we were not aware of this location earlier, we would have switched vets. This was our first and only visit at Seaport Animal Hospital. I will definitely recommend them to all my pet-owning friends. Also, we received a condolence card from the wonderful staff and I can't even begin to describe how much that means to our family. To understand the love we have for her and know our pain, thank you for not only taking such great care in her final moments, but also that of my family's as well.

What a great new vet hospital! I live nearby and have a Frenchie and 3 cats. We've brought most of our animals in for their check ups and are incredible happy with the friendly service and knowledgeable staff. Dr Lester's beside manner and caring nature helped me feel at ease, and I think my dog liked her too! A sweet girl at the reception area helped me book the appointment and greeted me with a smile. I didn't have to wait long to see the veterinarian and the check out process was quick and easy. I'm so glad these guys are so close now and look forward to future appointments here.
