My grandmother stayed here for five weeks last year after fracturing her hip. She was no easy patient, after having suffered many strokes and becoming largely dependent on the aid of others. My mother picked this home because of its close proximity to ours. I have no doubt she had better quality of care at this nursing home than that of her own home.
I had a traumatic fear of nursing homes when I was younger, but visiting this one put me at ease. Their staff people are so dedicated. Care is a really big issue today, for some more than others, and their patience and personal stories - among my conversations with them - make me admire them all the more. The facility is beautiful and well-decorated and there were a lot of activities scheduled for every taste.
