SDK Prospect Towers

Been 2 y in this building. This is the most horrible place I ever been in my life. parking, u get one very small space, other car you should park on the street if you lucky to find space, very high chance to get st ticket since there is lots of rule and regulation to park, during snow absolutely no st parking. Laundry machine is very very old, most of time coin stuck, better to carry your clothes outside and that is another hassle. You see police car outside and police in the building a lot, I believe people complain to each other and call them. If you make party be prepare to get embarrass in front of your guests coz police will show up coz neighbor complain either music, step noise or laughing , even if it is day time weekend. Rent will raise every year. Manger of building( Marcelo) you have to bribe him to be nice to you. People immediately think of moving out of this building short after they move in. Within 6 months, 5 of my neighbor in same level moved out. I could not move after first y because of new baby. I am not indian but I like my indian neighbors, they are much nicer. I don't have problem unlike other reviewers. If you looking for home, turn around you are at the wrong place. The office treat you like they are your boss, you are here because you are desperate, too many letters they send you of reminding RULES AND REGULATION, VIOLATION, NOTICE they enjoy sending this kind of reminder. Even the boss name Cory send you happy new years letter and then she tell you about Rules and regulation. they monitor your every move, you cannot possibly feel this place like home, the environment is very unfriendly. I feel bad whoever moving to this building. This place is pain in the a#$. Probably you won't understand until you move in. I am very exciting that we are moving out!!! This place maybe for you if you have no kids, family, guest, friend. you must be working 6 days, using this place only to sleep only till early morning coz of street noise starts at 7 am.

100% agree with the reviews below. This is the WORST place I've ever lived! We cannot wait for our lease to end to kiss this place goodbye! Management is disgusting. They send letters for the most stupid reasons but when it comes to major work and noise they somehow forget to send out a memo. i.e when they removed Metro PCS antenna.
They do everything possible to make the residents' life harder instead of easier.The feeling you get here is Management against residents.
This place is so over priced for what you get! Laundry facilities are 1000 year old! and never work! I end going to the laundromat most of the time. Faster and better treatment.
Do not move here! you will regret it! mark my words! and not to mention the HUGE conflict of interest that is this lady Joanne. She lives in the building and at the same time works for the Management, so guess what happens when you complain and she picks up the phone!? Exactly!! Nothing!
There is also smell of weed every night. We live on the 8th floor and we can smell it coming from our window! Definitely not a place to live with kids.
We heard that there are bed bugs on the third floor! Where is the letter to all residents?? Disgusting!

101 prospect ave place is the worst place ever, do yourself a favor and do not move to this place. I wish I have googled reviewed this pl before i move in. Now we r waiting for our one year lease to get over and looking for another peaceful home. Worst management, u get only one parking spot and it is so small the u have only 10'' space to open ur door. If u have two car them prepare urself to get street parking ticket. Too many rules. Every month at least 4 ppl moving out. Every other day for few hour water is been cut for repair. Laundry M is so old that ur clothes come dirty and u need to put $2 just to get them dry, I see lots of ppl go out for laundry. And every year they raise rent fee by 3.5%-5%.
Neighbor is so bad they r full of complains, do not move for sure if u have kids. This pl has zero intolerance when it comes to a kid noise on the hall or anywhere in the building, when u go in and out of building u get notice for keeping ur kids mouth shut, even the baby is 18 months old and they know nothing. The layers of the building is so thin that u can hear if ur neighbor from above is just walking simply. And noise from the street is above and beyond of the chart, at night every hour u hear a loud loud noise of siren by ambulance, police car and fire truck and day time all above plus regular cars with their horn. Bringing grocery from parking to home is another hassle. I'm tired of receiving letter about rules. Disrespectful neighbors, I hear my neighbor calling police to other neighbor for noice(didn't happened to me yet) If U r looking for a place like home do not come near this place. Even ur guest comes looking 30 min for parking and they leave with a parking ticket back home. Check other side for more reviews to this place all gives 1 star to this place, to me even 1 star is too much.
