My fiance and I moved here in 2014 back when the complex was owned by Segal & Segal, and all was going fine. Not great, but adequate for an inexpensive apartment this close to the train.
In 2015, the complex was sold and is now managed by Red Shield Mgt and they are doing an abysmal job of running this place.
The spring, summer, and fall were annoying enough. Garbage built up in the dumpsters to the point of overflowing. It took weeks to replace the lights in the common areas, both inside the stairwells and out in the parking lots. Mice started getting into our apartment and a few of our neighbors. When it was brought to management's attention, the Super just handed us a few Sticky-pads to catch them.
This last weekend though has been the final straw. This weekend was the winter storm Jonas, which hit Friday evening, 1/22. and snowed completely through 1/23. Never during that 24-36 hour period did management / maintenance plow the driveway, lay salt on the sidewalks, or attempt to clear the walkways. Sunday, 1/24, around 1pm they started to plow with their pickup truck. A single path was plowed out, with many spots of snow/ice lingering afterward. When maintenance left for the day, there was still a single lane plowed, with a significant amount of garages blocked and many cars left with large piles in front that commuters had to then clear on their own. (To clarify, this was more than typical piles while in apartment living.)
It is now Monday evening, 1/25, and the only part of the sidewalks that have been cleared are from the front doors to the driveway. Going from Scotland Road up into the complex is still 2+ feet of snow.

I've been living here for a couple months and I am very pleased so far and have to say that I have not found the parking situation to be bad at all. usually i find parking directly outside my front door, but there is a large lot behind the furtherest most building (up the hill) that really is only a couple yard walk from any of the buildings and always has plenty of spots in the rare case the most accessible spots are full... maybe these other tenants didnt know that lot was there?
