Don't be misled by the negative reviews of Ellios eating malcontents. This is the best pizza in Central Jersey period. It's a little higher in price than other places but you get what you pay for....quality!

The only reason I can think why people even go here, is because there's no other place around to eat. The food is disgusting and you can tell no one gives a shit I felt like a rape victim eating in a gas station bath room while covered in vomit . Mostly drunks in the place and low class whites. Would recommend just getting cereal from the corner store if stuck in South Amboy and are hungry.

The experience this time around was horrible. The service was very slow and they seem to not care about the customer. I think maybe a few more adults supervising would help everyone there seem to be a high school kid. Sorry. Additionally the prices were a little high!

Wife and I basically fell in love while eating at this place quite consistently over the years. The pie is thin so two people can eat one easily. Service can be a little slow depending on which 16 yo you get that day but you will enjoy the pies that is for sure.

They make real good thin crust pie but beware of their toppings -- or more specifically -- the price of their toppings. I ordered a large plain and a small with pepperoni and meatball. They charged me $2.50 for one topping and $3.50 for the other. Don't ask me why one topping is more than another. $6 for two toppings on a small 12"-13" pie is a little rich for my blood. This left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended) and is the reason I give this place 3 stars instead of 4.
