I really enjoyed my experience at School Products Yarns! Berta and her husband were both very helpful and friendly. The yarn I purchased is gorgeous and is knitting up nicely. Berta even gave me a quick lesson on Eastern European knitting while I was there! Visiting this store was definitely the highlight of my trip to New York and if I ever get back to New York I will stop in again. In the meantime I will continue to shop there via the web.

The new location is smaller than the previous store, but its new layout is better organized and brighter. They have a great selection of cashmere wools. And the collection of in-house designed patterns by Berta Karapetyan are an excellent resource for what to fashion from their private label brands.
