We had an amazing experience at School of Rock. Our son learned so much more beyond the basics, he learned to play with a band, collaborate and work as a group. It was just perfection and we will be signing up again in the Fall.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves music or wants to learn to "play with the band"

At the Montclair School of Rock the teachers are very encouraging and talented. My child adores them all. In addition, the music is very exciting and the students get the experience of a life time.

Our son loves the community and he is motivated to practice because others are relying upon him. He grows as a musician by working with people whose skills exceed his and has grown as a person by working in groups.

Our 8-year-old has been in the performance program for a year now and she loves it. It is the one thing that she's kept doing for more than just a few months. She gets to interface with people of all ages and experiences in an environment of professionalism and respect. It's a great source of learning, satisfaction and pride for her. The staff are talented, dedicated and work very well with kids of all ages. If you're hoping to get your child excited about music and musical performance, this is a great inroad.
