I saw Dr. Schein for well over a year, and years more including intermittent visits in conjunction with family therapy. He is a brilliant, sensitive man - so dedicated to his patients, he went back to school after psychiatric certification for training in internal medicine so he could fully understand his patients, inside out. He is presently retired (at age 100!) but I wanted to leave a review of this outstanding clinician and human being for the record. PS He also donated one day a week to indigent care at Mt. Sinai, throughout his long career - just one of many other signs of his devotion to patient care.
