Savarese Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy

I came from out of town and decided to give this place a try. It was an extremely friendly, clean, talented, and respectful environment. I came from a non affiliated school and they welcomed me in with open arms. Learned a lot of useful things and had great rolls. They are highly recommended. 5 stars for technique and another 5 stars for atmosphere.

Savarese BJJ is the perfect combination of dedicated and knowledgeable instructors. Students are provided with world class instructions and techniques on the art of jiu-jitsu. Savarese BJJ offers super clean facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. Savarese BJJ creates a positive and comfortable environment for everyone to learn jiu-jitsu. A plus I really enjoy as a female is the women's program! Jiu-Jitsu classes for women only taught by women = A+

Professor Sav is an amazing instructor who has an incredible mind not only for Jiu Jitsu, but for life in general. I take away a different life lesson every time I train. I've played sports for most of my life, but the team atmosphere at Savarese BJJ is unlike any of the teams I've played for in the past. Everyone truly cares about how you are doing, and you can feel it as soon as you walk in the door. Highly, highly recommend it!

I was a student for 3+ years and had to leave due to moving & proximity and I can say, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Savarese Jiu-Jitsu should be a first choice for any person who wants to learn the amazing techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Professor Savarese runs a professional school in a great facility with a top flight faculty that is there to support the student every step of the way. The Kids program is also top notch and the kids develop not only as martial artists, but you see their confidence and discipline go up. For adults, there is a plethora of options for both the hobbyist and the aspiring competitive grappler. His curriculum, built upon creating a solid foundation in old school Gracie Jiu-Jitsu that then is supplemented with advanced techniques has truly served me as I move on to another training environment. Professor Sav has cultivated a "no excuses" mindset that not only benefits learning Jiu-Jitsu, but penetrates into the psyche of the student and imbues everything you do, be it at work, or in raising a family. It truly is life training and I am forever thankful for the time I spent there. While I continue to train Jiu-Jitsu, I will always be forever thankful for the teachers I had at Savarese Jiu-Jitsu and for the camaraderie I found there. There isn't a better group of men and women supporting each other and trying to bring out the very best in each other and themselves. It's not a martial arts school, it's a life academy.

Very lucky to be training here and introduce close friends to this academy. There is a great mix of training partners holding high ranks so you'll always have someone there to help you with questions you may have. Awesome atmosphere with a great group of motivating and caring instructors as well as the training partners who help push you to be better. I started my training with Saverese BJJ at 18 years old and 7 years later I am still enjoying the journey!! Looking forward to what the future has in store and hope others can take that first step to try a class. See you on the mats!
