Sara's Homestay

Very disappointed in the web pictures and lack of accurate description. Said another way...deceiving. Geared toward foreign students who might not have any recourse once settled in. Would NOT have a single female in any NY space. Tried to work with them this summer from their "description" on web of rental space and where she was when we arrived. Would not let her stay there and they would not do anything and VERY difficult to get ahold if in person, unless they want their money. Better companies to work with.

I talked to one lady who seemed like she was an international worker there at Sara's homestay. I called in to just ask for the details of bedrooms and other stuffs. She said i had to book it first but she didnt tell me there was a nonrefundable fee which costs 150$. After i booked it and found out that the rent was expensive for three persons which costs like more than 1k$, i decided to cancel and asked for the full refund. They actually gave me back my full refund. Thanks to them and gods!

Well to start of with the family we game to had bed bug infection, and the family didnt even live there thenselves.. Furthermore the uncle was there to keep an eye on US, and was an alcoholic whom Got drunk everynight. There had been no cleaning What so ever in the last couple of years i guess and there was puke on the toilet floor for there days before it Got cleaned...

I am writing this on a phone and os getting anoying to hit the small keyboard. The list goes on though and ive only been here for a week. We are about to leave Them to live with a guy we Met, WHO Will help US find a new family. For questian about the rest contact me...

When i had to take a summer class away from home, I really didn't know where I would stay. Sara's Homestay was recommended to me by a classmate and when I reached out, they were very nice, courteous, and genuinely wanted to set me up with the best living situation possible. It was turned out to be an amazing summer, met cool people, and would definitely recommend Sara's Homestay to all my friends. Thank you!

I happened to stay at Sara's Homestay back when I was pursuing my college education. Nothing can replace your own home, still Sara's was a great place to be.

My dorm room in NY at Sara's Homestay, was a private one and it provided me enough privacy while allowing me to interact with other dorm members and befriend a few. In fact, I am in touch with two of them even today. It was perfect for me since I was in my twenties and wanted to have no supervision or restrictions of any kind. The room was comfortable and was well equipped with all the things I needed like a refrigerator, ac, full linens AND WiFi. The location was safe and near several landmark and recreational spots of the city. Apart from my studies I also managed to socialize a lot and have fun over the weekends. It was just great.

I have good memories of my stay in New York and Sara's Homestay has a big part to play in it.
