they are horrible at customer service. I have been chasing them from last 1 week but all they do is keep forwarding the calls which goes to same voice mail and you would never hear back from them.

I’ve never lived in a building with such a sub-par conditions in my life. From the moment I moved in, I’ve had to live with bedbugs and roaches, so you come to exterminate in my apartment, but if this problem is building-wide it doesn’t help if you just exterminate my apartment. Time and time again these infestation has come back b/c it’s a building issue not just isolated to one or two apartments. The management company needs a building wide solution not just by the apartment. If my apartment has bedbugs and roaches then so does my neighbors next to me and above and below me. Our recent issue is the lack of adequate heat and hot water, once again that’s what my rent should be going towards not just the pockets of the owner and management company. I’m sure like myself you start out complaining to the Super and pray something gets fixed or done then if you are really unhappy you complain to the Management company and pray again that something gets fixed. It sounds like they are not taking the tenants’ complain seriously. I think everyone in this building deserves a rent reduction and this is how you can do so. This building is a true reflection on how and who manages it. Very poorly.

they NEVER answer letters. They NEVER return phone calls.
I heard one of their own lawyers privately called this policy of theirs "shortsighted, at best."
This is the same firm that tried to take advantage of 9/11 - they manage a building adjacent to the WTC, and tried to ignore the tenants who were just trying to return home, hoping to evict them. Samson ignored them for years, until exposed in a series of articles in the New York Times.
