I brought my state id, benefit card, piece of mail, and electic bill but because my electric bill had the address but was missing the zip code I could not get food here even though I live two blocks away. How many more peices of ID do you need! I was able to get government foodstamps with all that and I can't even get a bag of food from the food pantry. Even if I was to get registered id have to come back because its by appointments only! So don't go here if you're starving to death. I'm starving. What is wrong with these people at the food pantry. It feels like I'm applying for a bank loan it buying a car. The lady at the desk was unsypathetic, cold, and rude. There system is broken. Its just a bag of food to feed hungry people. We shouldn't even need ANY ID to get food at all! This is insane. Cruel cruel people. Things like this make me sad about humanity. Where am I going to eat now? I'm so hungry. I'm balling my eyes out right now sitting outside the place. This city us so cruel sometimes. People are so cold.

My experience here was horrible. I came on the 24th because the captain said he wanted me to come to their dinner and talk to him, that he wanted to meet my children. When I got there, the workers were rude and treated me very bad. They spoke to me as if I was lesser than them and wasn't at all Christian like. The pastor never came to speak with me as he had said he would and I didn't receive any help as a pregnant, hungry mother of two toddlers. I will never attend there.
