Salute Brick Oven Bistro

Came on a busy Saturday night, and the place was jammed. We had reservations, but were a little delayed. That's fine. They did the absolute best they could. Our waitress was very nice and friendly.

Were this review solely based on atmosphere, service, etc it would be at least 4 stars. However, their menu is very overpriced. I ordered the raviolini, listed at 22 bucks. When it came out, it was a small plate with six raviolis. That's it. 22 bucks for six butternut squash ravioli. The food was decent, but it literally tasted like it was picked up at Trader Joe's for 4 bucks. Portions for my party were equally small.

Look. It was ok, but there is absolutely no way a restaurant can charge these kinds of prices for such small portions.

Cozy atmosphere, excellent food! Me and my wife have been here 3x in the last month and I've had 3 different entrees.... All excellent! Staff are friendly and frequent your table!

Went on a busy Saturday night before a concert at the Wellmont. We had no reservations and when we walked through the door we thought no chance. The maitre d working the door was obviously skilled at accommodating people. He was extremely professional, pleasant and helpful, especially considering the pressure he was under. We had a table in 10 minutes,wish I'd gotten his name. Our waiter (Dean) was awsome, he understood we were pressed for time and got us taken care of quickly. So we knew the service was great, then the food came and it was great! Obviously freshly prepared by skilled chefs. Terrific food and service on a night when the restaurant was busting at the seams, I don't know how they do it! We are going to drive up from Philadelphia again soon, we'll find an excuse, it's worth the drive!

The food was delicious! We shared a risotto ball for appetizer that I didn't want to stop eating, it was that good. Service was top notch. A little noisy but that was ok. Would go again.

Wonderful service, pizza is great, pasta is great, didn't try the seafood. The music was bad the first time I visited, but the second time it was wonderful. Great place t bring a date, no kids please
