A 3 cuz Joe Sal's son gives excellent customer service and is a totalll cutie. Pizzas however is tasteless. Dominik's Pizza down the road is much much better.

use to eat here all the time and order food everyone in my family did but never again only one time i didn't have enough to give the d boy a tip and he threw a pen at my house door?? i rather just eat dominos then get treated like crap

Sal's pizza is very good and they have a coupon where you can get a large pie for $10! The service is terrible though, everyone there needs customer service training.

WTF happened to this place. Sal's used to be the best in town, now they could possibly be the worst. Bad service, overpriced, bad pizza. How is that even possible? $23.80 for large pie, half plain half specialty? Worse yet, it wasn't even made fresh, they just slapped some chicken on an old pie that was sitting around all day and threw it in a box. There was plenty of chicken on it, but it was off tasting and dry. If you are lucky enough to get a fresh pie, its so oily and crappy tasting, you'd wish you hadn't. Add bad service and rude people and you have a recipe for the worst pizzeria in Glen Cove ( yes even dominoes is better) I was a regular here for years, since old man Dimaggio ran things. I don't know who is running it now, but I can tell you where they are running it... right into the ground. Shame on you.
