One of the worst GrubHub experiences I've ever had. Let's start off by talking about delivery time. I had not realized that JC Sakurai Sushi was around the block from where I currently was (I was over a friend's house when I ordered), but didn't mind paying the 5 dollar tip and 1 dollar deliver charge expecting the driver to say "oh wow a 5 dollar tip to walk around the block, let me go ahead and finish this off"; but needless to say this is not what happened. The food took over an hour to get to us. How that's possible when we ordered 2 rolls and an order or gyoza I have no idea. When the food got to us, the gyoza was ice cold, but we were too hungry to complain. Now the food. When we ordered a 13 dollar special roll, and a 12 dollar special roll, we expected to get a decent amount of sushi. What I got instead was not a special roll but a spicy tuna maki roll with some fresh fish on top, and a shrimp tempura roll that consisted of 99.99% rice. On top of that, when you place a ~$40 order in total, you expect to get soy sauce, instead we got that terrible Chinese knockoff soy sauce that's just water, caramel color, and salt. The wasabi was pretty awesome though, too bad no one in my group likes wasabi except for me. The gyoza as I had mentioned were ice cold, but I have inkling that they would not have tasted much better fresh. So, to sum up: I ordered $30~ worth of sushi after tax, and got maybe $15~ worth of sushi from any of my usual places in Manhattan. Despite me tipping the driver 5 bucks to walk AROUND THE BLOCK, the restaurant decided a great idea would be to send this guy out an hour after we had placed our order. Or as Donald Trump would say: "BAD!"

Rude, rude, rude rude rude AND yes, racist. Avoid this place if you care about your soul more than sushi--which based off other reviews isnt very good anyway. Hopefully they will close down soo..

Nothing special, but quite tasty rolls and gyosa.

Nothing special. Not that cheap either. Food is not made by Japanese chefs. It's all Chinese workers. The food is anything but authentic. Not coming back.
Service is really poor. The waitress was no help with ordering and didn't ever come to check on us. We were the only two people in the place, and still bad service. It was a Friday during dinnertime. They mostly do take out, I assume. I could say more, but I don't think I need to.
I will never go here again, and I urge you to try eating real japanese food.

DO NOT EAT their food. Christ buy a sushi roll at a supermakert first. Rolls were runny. Not a good quality for sushi. Salmon skin rolls were rancid. This place wipes, blows, and sucks. It smelled like rancid fish when I walked in the door. If you are going to serve rancid food, at least clean the place. I hope I don't die from what it did eat. ack!
I should have turned and left.
