Reviews to Saint Mary's Park
Full service park with an indoor rec center and swimming pool. In 1951 it became New York City's first full service Park. Its rolling hills are pretty much what the Bronx was like before development leveled a lot of land in the area.
There's a giant rock outcropping that for generations kids have used as a slide due to its relative smooth surface thanks to the ice age.
The park is in major need of repairs and thanks to New York City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, the western playground will be getting a major upgrade. Still, the park could use a massive overhaul.

Nice, big park in the South Bronx. Plenty to do with handball, basketball, soccer, and fitness park. Also, some fun rock outcroppings to explore.

The park is great during warmer days. Also its not pack and congested like other parks in the city. The boulders out-crops are related to those in central park.
