I happen to be Vietnamese American. I googled this place, named after the capital of South Vietnam , a fallen city. It doesn't take a Vietnamese person to know this is NOT Vietnamese food. These Chinese people have no clue how to make Vietnamese food and is a slap on the face to my heritage lol. The menu had Chinese lettering. The workers were speaking all Chinese...dead giveaway. This is the worse chinese made Vietnamese food I ever tried. Good try!

Ordered pho noodle. It was the worst I ever tasted. The soup didn't even taste anything like pho.

Not as good as the Vietnam Pho in downtown Flushing but not a bad place to go instead if you are like me who doesn't like to drive into a crowd place and have to look for parking just for a meal.

Stay away.
This was our first and will be our last time ordering from Saigon. I've always read reviews on Yelp, but have never been compelled to write one until tonight.
We ordered Curry Beef Stew Noodle Soup, Fish Ball Noodle Soup, Seafood and Bean Curd Soup, and Minced Chicken Corn Soup.
Both Noodle Soups were sub par. Beef was very tough, and the curry was under seasoned and had very little flavor. The stock for the Fish Ball Noodle soup tasted nothing like soup, but the water they used to boil the fish balls. The fish balls, and all the ingredients (pieces of "seafood", carrots and snow peas) in the Seafood and Bean Curd Soup tasted frozen, and soup was over thickened with cornstarch and came out in globs.
Just as I was saying to my wife that maybe we should give the place another chance, we scooped out from the container that had the Minced Chicken Corn Soup the lid from, what I could only guess was, the can of corn that they use to make the soup.
We stopped eating at the point, and dumped everything out. If they don't seem to use any fresh ingredients (frozen and canned, apparently), and would let a piece of metal that large get into the soup, I don't want to imagine what else they allow into their food.
We ordered pizza from Gino's a few doors down instead.
Do yourself a favor, stay away.
Took picture of the soup and can lid. Glad none of my three kids got their lips cut open.
