Safelite AutoGlass

My experience with Safelite Astoria,NY was flawless.. They did everything in their power to make sure I get my front windshield to my minivan within couple hours. Office did handle professionally, Technician handled professionally. Safelite Astoria, NY thank you for your same day service.

I had to schedule 3 times to do the same job. First in Astoria Safelite, I had appointment for Saturday 7am , but the car was accepted at 8 am. They confirm that they have glass for my car on Friday but after 1 hour on Saturday I was told that the new glass has "matted area" and they need to order a new one. Next week (Saturday) I came at 8 am ( I was not so stupid to come at 7 am it is useless , nobody is working at 7 am) I was told that they ordered two glasses ( just in case). After 2 hours I was told that first glass has "matted area" too. When I asked about the second one I got answer that it never came . It was strange because at 8 am I was told that they have two glasses - just in case of bad luck. I did not come to Astoria 3rd time , I had enough, I visited Ridgewood Safelite and they change my glass the way Astoria location should do during my first visit. I supposed to get front wiper free but they were out off stuck , so I never got them.

Great experience here, my rear window was shattered and they fixed it up in about 2 hours, they have a big air conditioned waiting room with complementary Keurig coffee or water and a flat screen TV.
The front desk lady was very pleasant. Will definitely be a returning customer.

Had a break in and my insurance sent me to them. Front desk lady was crabby, curt and clearly hated morning. When your car gets broken into and you have to miss work to fix your window, the last thing you need is an unpleasant receptionist. Hopefully their technicians are more skilled than their office staff is courteous. She is costing this place business!
