Safe & Sane Driving School

Thanks so much to Sheryce and Freddy. I am so happy to finally have my license after all this time. It's been hard for me to drive since I've always been scared of getting behind the wheel. I know for a fact I was a challenge but they've helped me to overcome my fears. The first time I was scheduled for a road test I canceled because of my fear of driving and 4 years later here I am again. They are a great team they make driving smooth, easy ,fun and ready to support you. They will also provide you with feedback. So don't be afraid to ask what you need to work on. Trust me they are VERY patient. I will highly recommend this driving school. Don't forget that practice makes perfect. The rest is up to you.

A great bunch of people running an great school. You'll learn how to drive the right way. After going to 4 school and 6 instructors I can honestly say I learned more in 2 lessons here than all my other lessons combined! Getting my license has changed my life. Thank you!

Took the 5 hour class here in the summer time and never got my certificate. Had to take the class somewhere else just so I could take the road test. I was excited about taking lessons here, but after the way they behaved I went somewhere else

Great school!!! I started off with little confidence, but after a few classes with Freddy Jr. I left 100% confident and passed my road test!

HANDS DOWN, THE BEST DRIVING SCHOOL EVER!

Let's start from the beginning, shall we?

I took my 5 hour class before any of my lessons and it was easy-peasy! Wasn't boring at all! All you have to do is sit there and soak up the information, simple as that. Sherrie gave very helpful information during each and every clip that was shown. She made the simple things easy to remember and was open for questions that anyone had (no question was a stupid question to her, which I love)! I got my certificate and then signed up and scheduled my driving classes.

I live in the Bronx and there is not one driving school as awesome as this one! Although they are located in Yonkers, it was fast and convenient for me to travel and attend my driving lessons, since I live in the Marble Hill area. I took the Bx9 bus straight to the last stop, heading towards Van Cortland, and walked a few blocks. My driving instructor was Freddy and he was GREAT right from the start! He has complete confidence in everyone and isn't out to take your cash, he's genuinely there to help everyone pass their road test! I didn't know the first thing about driving before I came here.

During the lessons, he's patient and gives criticism but you have to be able to take that the right way. They choose a great space to practice as well, quiet and spacious. They also are super flexible with scheduling so that it meets both of your schedules. I learned everything from parallel parking, lane changing, when and how many times to stop at a stop sign and so much more. (OH, and I purchased the package with about 5 classes). After completing my classes, I took my road test in the morning behind the Cross County movie theatre and PASSED on my first try!

Overall, I can honestly say that I could not have done it without Safe & Sane Driving School! My experience was awesome and they really do go above and beyond for their clients. You will not regret coming here to learn! Driving can change your life and bring so many other opportunities to you. DONT SLACK!
