My daughter is 10 years old and is currently attending this school. I honesty love it! The teachers and staff are great! The school is a bit strict and my daughter came from a public school previously so it was a bit of an adjustment at first, she use to attend P.S 126 which is the most terrible school ever. There the teachers had no respect for the children or parents, children were being abused and bullied and the staff did nothing about it. Once my daughter was being bullied I decided it was time for a change. Ms. Martinez is great for giving all the information needed to enroll and get financial help if needed. Ms. Diaz is the absolute best at everything, she knows all her children by name and all parents definitely by face, most by name. If there's anything you need help with once your child is in the school she is always there to help. They have no tolerance for misbehavior or bulling. They have many programs for the children like violin, dance, chess, chorus, fencing and much more. I honestly struggle to pay the tuition because we don't get much financial help due to our income but its worth every penny. I'm glad we made the decision to change her school and she loves it there. My daughter also loves her teachers, even the tough ones. I cant speak for the readers below but I cant image there being beer cans there and no one caring and it and the staff is anything but rude.

Giving Sacred Heart School, a 3.2 star is an understatement. This school, is by far, the WORST. What’s disappointing, is that it’s Catholic. I guarantee, Public schools operate, better than this school. The unprofessionalism and ignorance, of the Administrative staff, is incomprehensible. They treat, parents paying for their child’s education, with no respect. And treat the kids’ worse. I’m surprised, the doors, are still open. I was asked, if I would refer anyone to enlist their child here and my answer; ABSOLUTELY NOT. I’ve had friends, register their kids, elsewhere. The only reason, I kept my child here, is because, it’s conveniently close to home, and commute to work. Our experience with this school, has been a nightmare. (To say the least) Teachers, curse and put hands on kids. Students smoke Huka, in the restroom; girls spend more time, twerking, than actual schoolwork. And the boys, vandalizing the school. This school, should NOT be Catholic. It’s a disgrace. Despicable.

Found cases of beer on the auditorium stage while picking up my child. The receptionist claimed that the beer didn't belong to the school and that they had no control over the people who put that there. She then went on to say that children are not allowed on the stage... That was a lie. I had gone back in to take my child into the bathroom and there were little boys playing tag on the stage.
Honestly though? I'm not really impressed with anything else either, the building seems to be falling apart, the staff is rude and of course nobody seemed to really care about there being beer where a child can easily reach it. I mean, if a student brings in beer they get suspended but if it mysteriously materializes then there's no issue?
I've been in public schools run better than this. I've been in teen shelters run better than this. I can go as far as to say I've been to church basement summer camps ran better than this. Absolutely disgraceful.

It's been 16 years since I was last i moved to Charlotte from the Bronx. But I was a student at Sacred Heart from kindergarten until the fourth grade! Honestly, I missed Sacred Heart so much when I started going to public school in the south. Sacred heart is a great school!
