My family has been coming here for years and my nephews children like the place that is a bonus when you have pickie eating children. The service here is top notch and very informative.
I have warmed up to the food and now enjoy the simplicity and freshness of the ingredients.
I am of Italian and french ancestory and tend to have heavy sause and seasoning. I have been on a new diet (i am diabetic) they have many choices, so I can make a good and healthy choice.

The lunch special at $8 give you arroz chaufa , or lomo saltado, or pasta... chicken or steak versions.... and a side.. Food was good so was the salad

I would have given this restaurant no stars whatsoever.... the food is a disaster!!!. Ceviche was nasty no flavor!!!. Lomo Saltado too greasy and salty, the service was ok but this place looked like it had potential, nice place but not everything that shines is made out of GOLD!!! don't waste your money or time, now LA COSTAÑERA in Montclair or OH Calamare in KEARNY, now thats real authentic delicious peruvian food!!!! ...worth every penny!!!!

The food was good if you don't know how Peruvian food should taste.
i was disappointed with the ceviche, the fish was clearly frozen and the lime juice did come from a bottle and not freshly squeezed.
i was also disappointed with the Lomo Saltado (basic dish), the flavor was off and way to much soy sauce.
The Chicha Morado (purple corn juice) was made from a package and not home made.
The staff was nice and spoke very decent Spanish.
