These guys were great. Having had my first accident after 26 years of driving, I was afraid of taking care of this myself, anticipating the worst since men who deal in cars are notorious for being only one step above politicians and lawyers when it comes to honesty.
S&T proved me wrong. It helped having a GEICO rep on site who was very nice and helpful. Nelson, the S&T worker I dealt with was polite, attentive and also very nice, recognizing how hard it is to have an accident and put your trust in someone else to fix your car. He also made clear the process, including the fact that sometimes jobs take longer depending on when parts come in, paint processing, etc. They worked with me on getting my car back as close to the approximated date as possible, and the job they did was fantastic. Not only did they fix my car perfectly, as though it had never been hit, but they returned the car essentially looking like it had been detailed, inside and out. I highly recommend S&T. It's in a scary looking neighborhood, which could be off putting to those unfamilar with the Bronx for sure, but their workmanship and customer service quickly makes you forget where you are.
