S & S Auto Repairs

I have been dealing with S&S for years. Great honest guys. My sister's muffler was having a problem making noise I was out of town and I told her to take it to them. I was telling her maybe her muffler might be cracked. She took it there and there was a piece of metal that somehow got caught and was making noise. They just removed it for her and that was it. No Charge. I was thinking now how many places would have seen a young lady come in and not have made something up and charge her an arm and a leg.

Besides that in all my years of going to them, they have been professional in everything they do. They do excellent work. They even fixed the problem I had with my Benz.

I am taking my time to write this because I really feel like when you deal with S&S you are dealing with honest professionals.

I wanted to get my car inspected by S&S because it is so close to me. However, I was dissuaded when I called up and was told that since it was 12:30 pm on a Saturday and the inspection guy went home at 1 pm, he "[didn't] feel like doing the inspection at that time". Fair enough. I guess they don't want my business.

I went to West Side Tire & Automotive and they did it without a problem.

There is a popular saying that 'Do not judge a book by its cover" and juding a book by its cover was exactly my impression when I chance upon S & S looking for a place to have my VW Passat inspected. The guys took it into the garage on a cold November morning and I was shocked at the modern machines they had to inspect my car.

In addition, the folks treated everyone like family and did not charge as much as others I had called. Although, that was my first time being there, I very much felt at home with the mechanics at S & S.

I highly recommend them because of their professionalism and 'warmth.'
