Ryder Truck Rental and Maintenance

I was a driver for an art event cross country and my company chose ryder because it had the best rates.... That aside I called them to see If I could rent a metro van they said all they had left was a 10 ft box truck. I asked how much 10 days would be and he said 420 for a week then 90 a day. I asked if there was a difference in price and the associate said no they are the same price.Called the next day to make the reservation, different associate gave me 2 different quotes in mid conversation!!!! For 10 ft box truck it would be 1200 for a week then 120 a day. I proceeded to make the reservation and then I asked, 'So all together what would the final total be?' His immediate response was "Well, actually since your renting for nearly 2 weeks it's going to be 1960." Since I mentioned that it wasn't a full two weeks the associate said it doesn't matter we have to charge you for that amount anyway.I put my name down to reserve the truck as a last resort. I call the next day, they had rented out the truck and said I could be put on a waiting list. Left me in a tough spot and completely disregarded me.Went to enterprise, they had a cargo van in stock and $500 cheaper, sold!
