Ruth Hair Studio

I've been coming here since Ruth opened - about five or six years ago, I think. I agree with the previous reviewer - the price for a wash and blow dry is out of line at $35.00. A cut is not much more! I have had this problem before with a color service only - no cut. The cut should be the bulk of the charge, not the other way around. If there were a range for wash and blow dry service, she should have quoted that and if I were the customer, I would have paid what I was quoted. My usual service is cut and color - $ 80.00 - totally in line and more than reasonable. This isn't your typical mall hairstylist. Ruth is a true artist who takes whatever time is necessary to make you look awesome. So, though I understand why the previous customer was upset over price, I have to recommend Ruth very highly. She is very skilled and very reasonable. Just check on the price before you start the service. Prices are not posted in the office, and the variations for long and short hair seem strange. Don't avoid her though - talk to her! She's a nice lady.
