I Wish I did my research before I hired Frances Ruiz Newman . I hired her back in 2012 to complete a loan modification for me. However she never completed the paper work/ documentation. As a result my home/ loan is now in foreclosure status. Unfortunately, I went back to her to seek assistance the same day I was served with the foreclosure documentation ; because I reacted to fear and became desperate. I should have contacted other lawyers . She took advantage of the situation. She overcharged me to represent me in my foreclosure case. She did not advocate on my behalf to get a fair loan modification, she took the first offer that the bank made. The judge is the one that requested for the bank to work with me in modifying my loan. She is very deceptive and not trustworthy. Her tactic is to be inviting, understanding and warmed at the beginning so she could get hired. After the contract is signed , she changed completely; she became cold and incompetent. Her staff Millie is very unprofessional, disrespectful, plain rude. She lacks communication skills and trainings. I will not recommend this law firm to anyone.
