One of the most underrated museums in NYC. Beautiful exhibition with impressive pieces on hindu and Buddhist culture. Very well organised and structured.

Very authentic place showcasing excellent exhibitions. I visited when they were showcasing exhibitions on Himalayan ary, Tibetan, Mongolian, Indian, Chinese and Nepalese artwork. Staff were friendly, the place really easy to navigate and overall a wonderful experience. Really well curated I must say.
They also offer student discounts, if you are eligible.

Came here with my dad a few months ago, and loved it. Great combination of art and culture of Tibet. 10/10 would totally come back here to see all the artifacts and tapestries. Love the layout of the museum and overall feel of it. If you want to learn more about Buddhism or just Tibet, this is a great start. Love it!
