Roto-Rooter

I had a sump pump that broke, flooding my basement. I made the appointment on Thursday, asking for a Friday evening appointment. I was told someone would be here between 4pm and 8pm. At 7:50pm, my wife called and was told the technician that was supposed to come here was sent someplace else but the person didn't know why. They stated they'd check and call back. 30 minutes later, I received no phone call so I called them and asked to reschedule for the next morning. I was given a time frame of 8am - 12pm. At 12pm we called and were told that they technician's truck broke down so they had to send someone else. The technician arrived, explained everything and did a thorough job. We were given 10% off because of the problems. I had a coupon for $40 off of a sump pump but the technician told me they normally don't combine discounts. I explained that the 10% was because of the poor communications and lack of anyone showing up the night before (plus he was late today!) but he didn't seem to care.

They are quick and know what they are doing. They are available on odd hours and dates (Last time they were here was Christmas Eve for a broken faucet). I'd use them again but I was a bit disappointed in their inability to arrive as scheduled and without notifying me of the delays.

I also expressed interest in their clean up service, as my carpet needs to be pulled up and he told me someone would contact me but as of now, no one contacted me. I figured I'd get a call the same day on that. I'll be ripping up the carpet myself and save myself some money,

We called Roto Rooter on a Friday and they were great with communicating when a plumber would be available. Eugene, a super nice and competent plumber, came out to Princeton, NJ Saturday morning and solved our drain problem. He had the right equipment (50ft + snake) and experience to unclog our kitchen sink drain. He also gave us advice on how to prevent future clogs. Thanks so much Roto Rooter. You got the job done.

I had a sewer back up in the basement, Roto-Rooter of Newark had a plumber out here within a couple of hours. Great quick service.

William was a really nice guy. He was friendly, told me what he was going to do before I had to pay, helped me out and didn't leave a mess. Clogged drain is long gone and with the root destroyer, it won't be back.

I had a clogged drain which was causing my toilet to leak. I took a chance and called Roto-Rooter of Newark and was pleasantly surprised that they would send a technician out within an hour! I was happy when the two plumbers arrived within the time frame the dispatcher had estimated. They were both very courteous and professional. They had the problem fixed in about an hour and were even very generous in offering advice on how to do some monthly maintenance on my own. The plumber did a great job in assessing the problem and coming to a quick solution. They left the area clean and tidy. Great service in such short notice. Thank you Patrick and Roto-Rooter.
