Great little library. Housed in a Carnegie-built building from the 1920s, this little library is full of charm. The collections are astonishingly good, for such a small-town library. Browsing the shelves, one comes across new releases in nearly every category. RPL also participates in consortium of libraries meaning a card holder has access to most libraries in Union and Middlesex counties. (That's a lot of books!). For children, the library annex has a very ample selection as well as some children's activities. The staff are generally friendly and polite and the library is open until 8 pm 3 nights a week, for convenience. There really isn't anything not to like about the Roselle Public Library in my view. Stop making Jeff Bezos more rich than he already is. Support you local Public !

Having lived in Roselle for the past 11 years, one of my favorite places to go is to the library. They have an extensive collection of the genre of books that I love to read and the librarians are always very helpful

Not the best library I've ever been to but meets my needs when applicable. I don't frequent this place but when I do come, knowing it's small and near several schools, I try to come earlier, before school gets out, because it gets pretty busy then. I've taken out books, used the Wi-Fi and used the computers. The limit for computer usage, like most libraries or public places is 30 minutes. Which can go by really quick if you're using it and slow if you're waiting. Either way, I have been fortunate to have had good experiences with the staff here and enjoy my time when ever I do stop by.

Every time I come here, there's a problem. I am a patron that comes to use the wifi with my laptop EVERYDAY. There's a problem with the wifi so they have to manually "reset" it (by unplugging it) The router was broken and they received a new one and the PROBLEM STILL OCCURS. I asked them to reset the router, you know, the SAME OLD ROUTINE DONE EVERYDAY AND THEY ACT LIKE THEY DONT KNOW THAT THIS IS THE PROBLEM OR THAT I AM THE ONE WHO ASKS EVERYDAY.
Other then that lets get down to the details. There are only 8 computers (4 computers and 4 laptops) but you would be lucky if you get all 8 of them working as THEIR IS ALWAYS A PROBLEM. Either a few are not working or broken. So you literally have to wait until someone gets up to use it. Which will take forever as the patrons here only watch youtube, play games and watch porn. Your best bet will be to go during the day because once the kids get out of school, you will NEVER GET ON THE COMPUTER. Worst part is that it is extremely noisy. This is a library, seriously? The kids jump around like its a playground and there is not quiet study/reading area.
The book selection is crap as well. You are garaunteed to not find what you are not looking for.
Best advise that I can give: Take the journey and travel to elizabeth's library. The short distance here in roselle is not worth the aggrivation
