We had a sink hole develop under the fence and called Rose (who installed the fence initially ) to fix our fence. It was a few years after installation. They realigned the fence perfectly, and when I asked for a bill, they didn't give us one. They repaired it at no charge. How nice was that?

Rose fence: Unfortunately , my story currently does not have a happy ending with this company:

We purchased a wood fence from Rose Fence over 23 years ago, and so began a love affair my husband had with this wonderful company. Over the next almost quarter of a century my husband would recommend Rose Fence to family & friends looking for a quality , reliable fence provider. He learned how to repair our wood fence with pointers given by their staff, and of course, any new projects would have him running to buy his quality wood from rose fence.
Before the summer he planned his next big project and once again had to buy his wood from Rose Fence -- after working with their sales manager Joe to figure out how much and what types of wood would be needed, my husband Jordan had about $ 2500 of wood delivered.
Then on July 6 my wood building, wonderful, 57 year old husband suffered a massive heart attack and on July 14 we were left with no choice but to turn off his life support . After 33 years of marriage I could barely cope, but a good friend of our family went to Joe at Rose Fence and explained my predicament. We had hoped they would understand and have compassion and help us by taking back this wood. Joe assured our family friend that something would be done but needed to speak with his boss and could we give him a little time. 2 weeks later and no news, we again contacted Rose Fence, Joe apologized and said he had not spoken to his boss, but would do so and get back to us soon. Another 2 weeks of no news and our friend finally reach Joe and was told that Janice Rose the owner said no returns, no refunds, all sales are finial!
I honestly could not believe after almost 5 weeks this was their response, and felt I should personally talk with Janice Rose, woman to woman. The $2500 was a lot of money to me and my 16 year old son [ bills & mortgage payments] and for the next 3 weeks I left 2 messages a week for her with their receptionist -- no reply. Desperate to speak with someone I contacted Joe who told me his hands were tied and he could do nothing but would past my message again to Janice Rose and would request for her to contact me. It is over 2 weeks and I am still waiting for her call. It is my hope that Janice Rose will reconsider her stance and do the right thing by taking back this wood.

Billy Burden Such a shame that the quest for the almighty dollar takes precedent over any form of compassion for our fellow man. Shame on you Rose Fence. You won't be getting any of my business or any of my associates' business.

Marie LaPlaca Salerno I am so saddened that this company recommended to me by my friend is being treated so poorly. Shame on Rose Fence for their lack of compassion and not putting their customers first. They have lost my business.

Nancy Pace Edwards This is such a terrible shame. Such a well known company on Long Island, and they can't show compassion in time of crisis?? How can a company like this not answer a customers calls? The lumber is still brand new, never used, in the pile...and can't be taken back, and reused, and refund this customer? Shame on you Rose Fence! For a $2,500 order, which can be easily taken back and reused...your company is going to lose a ton of business after this story gets spread! Contact channel 12 news and better business bureau!! These are not the kind of companies/people we want to be dealing within our community. I truly hope this company, in this extenuating circumstance, will reconsider their stance, take back the lumber and refund the money.

Nice fence fast delivery. Service in the hunting store was awful. Counter person refused to call his manager to help me . Insisted that I use my own phone. It was floored never had an experience like that in my life. Sales man resolved my issue but offered no apologies for the poor service.

Professionals all the way .Don't be mislead by fly by night companies. They have be around for a long time. Must be doing something write .

Most aweful experience! The installer installed our fence on our neighrbors property-RoseFence in refusing to reinstall the fence claiming that it is our fault. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO INSTALL YOUR FENCES!!!!!!
