Since the resturaunt came under new ownership in July, I have eaten here several times. Their pizza was indeed hot and fresh. The dough was crispy, and their sauce was very tasty. They have an extensive spread of toppings, from bacon and american cheese, to baked ziti pizza, to buffalo chicken pizza. They also have the usual toppings for pizza(sausage, meatball, mushrooms, etc). The dining room expirence was also very good. The food was very good quality. I had the fried calamari for an appetizer, the chicken marsala on a bed of spaghetti for my entree, and a flan with coffee for dessert. The fried calamari was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, it was not at all rubbery. The marinara sauce for dipping, was not acidic, and was all around very good. The chicken marsala was very flavorful, the chicken was tender, and the sauce had a good amount of mushrooms. The flan, was the best I have ever had. It was homemade, and had a mellow flavor, as well as being extremely fresh, and rich.
The service was top notch, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The server was always with a smile, and very polite. They have two master pizza makers, as well as a counter/delivery person that was also very friendly. With the addition of a new Spanish menu as well, this resturant should be at the top, in Emerson. I will definately be a continued patron of this fine establishment.
