I really love this place. Located just off the AirTram, the Racquet Club is a 12 court bubble with a modest sitting area complete with glass viewing area and a TV. I was here for CTL this winter and they were always so accomodating and friendly, not to mention their end of the year party was fantastic! The courts a little slicker than most, but the backdrops are a nice distance away from the baseline (better than most courts I've found in the city). I love any opportunity to play here!

To the older gawky bird-like receptionist: Due to your pathetic customer service - I will never step foot in that establishment again. Nor recommend anyone to visit.

Great tennis, very nice clay courts, good amenities. Right next to the Roosevelt Island Tram or easily accessible by subway. In the summer, definitely take some time to hang out right outside, and take in the beautiful Manhattan sights.
