Ron Panvini, Ph.D.

I do not recommend Dr. Ron Panvini. He lacks compassion, skill and knowledge. He is derogatory, impatient and distracted.

I feel compelled to share my 2 cents after reading the other reviews. I found Dr. Panvini online. I wish I had not trusted the hopeful things I read. It took me too long to leave him. It was very difficult to do once I opened up and shared the most vulnerable parts of myself. I wanted to believe he wanted what was best for me. He did not, and I wish I never went to him. He tried to tell me what to do instead of empowering me to make positive choices. He perpetuated negative beliefs by always pointing out the negative and restating things in negative ways. My life outside of therapy got worse the longer I saw him.

Dr Panvini came highly recommended to me, from both friends and colleagues as I anticipated moving from London, England to New York City; and within our first meeting I came to understand their enthusiasm for working with him.
Dr Panvini’s approach helped me to word the unspeakable, bringing together a once fractured body and mind. Our work together enabled me to bring a new found strength and resilience to my future choices and decisions enabling me to move forward to a life that I once thought was not possible. The process was not always easy, bringing with it a mixture of feelings, emotions and realizations that were not always pleasant. But, with his patience, guidance and understanding, I was able to explore parts of myself that I had spent years ignoring and in time experience new ways of thinking and feeling that lead to positive, life changing decisions.

I highly recommend Dr. Ron Panvini. He is nonjudgmental, very insightful and a terrifically supportive therapist. I especially liked the way he used Bioenergetic body work along with talk therapy to help me overcome blockages holding me back from being more creative and living a better life.
