Rodrigues Barber Shop

I went to Rodrigues Barbershop to get my head shaved on Sunday morning!! The first noticeable thing about this barbershop is that it's open even on Sunday. There was no waiting time at all. Master barber was very polite and courteous. He sat me in the chair and asked if I'd prefer hot towel before head shave. Master barber took his time to apply lather first, then put a hot towel and gave me straight razor head shave. I thought I was done, but he applied lather second time and started shaving my head against grain. Entire process took about half an hour and ended with cold towel. It was overall very relaxing experience. This place is not a beauty salon! It's a real barbershop for men. I gave $3 tip + $12 for head shave = $15. I would highly recommend this place.

Fantastic place. I've been getting my hair cut here for a decade. For the first few years I tried different places, but I always went back. I like my hair cut differently depending on the season, and Aziz always remembers exactly what I want. They also love football(soccer), so it's never a boring experience. Love this place!

In the middle of several different barber shops and hair salons, Rodrigues Barber Shop is for sure the best and most responsible place around Kearny. I had tried many of them before I found them. It is the first place around Kearny and Newark that I feel extremely comfortable to cut my hair.
