The best pizza in New York just the right amount of cheese and a really tasty sauce every other place I have pizza it's all bread no cheese.....

After walking down the High Line, called in to Rocky's for pizza. Really good service and even better pizza. Sit and watch the world go by and enjoy some traditional NYC pizza.

This place offers what I have found to be so elusive in pizza in this town as of the last decade. Pizza with the good kind of mozzarella and a lot of it! Rockys passed the "stretch test"! When you bite into their slice the cheese stretches. That's the way New York Pizza used to before this "dollar slice" war that has almost every pizzeria in New York using that skim milk mozz or just plain fake cheese.

I had a sausage slice and it was damn good. I also had a square slice which was pretty good but not "prince street pizza" level. I will say they give you more cheese than almost anyone including prince. But I'd come back here for the regular slice. I cannot say enough about how difficult it is to find a cheesy stretchy slice these days! As far as service goes, they are below average. The guy taking my order gave the impression that he was indifferent about being there. But I don't really care, it's a pizza joint not a 5 star dinning experience, get me my slice quickly and and it better be good. They accomplished that. They are booked marked and officially on the short list of Bruce approved Slices.

This place and the manager is very disrespectful, we spend over $30.00 dollars and when the delivery man forgot on of our order we called back the restaurant. A person name of Robert who refused to put the manager on the phone was yelling and cussing on the phone when one of my associate called back for the missing order. The service a very poor. Would not recommend for you to go there!!!!!
I only posted that star because I have too in order for this review to be posted. I would not be surprised if this people spits on your food. Due to this incident I will not sent any of my guest to this place to order food anymore.

Do not order from this takeaway, we used it as a last resort as it was 24hrs when we first arrived in NYC, the next day I got food poisoning from a vegi cheese and tomato pizza which seemed undercooked and was poorly created, tinned tomatos dropped on top, next to no flavour. My friends has meat pizza which they said was slightly better but still lacking flavour, undercooked and soggy with questionable meat. The only good thing was the delivery time which was fast. I would never order from here again.
