Lounging around on a beach all day is clearly a lot of hard work so I know you are going to be hungry. To refuel, you must go to Rockaway Taco. This taco shack is seemingly a bit out-of-place, but when you see a line of people wrapped around the block, you know you’re in the right spot.
They are known for their fish taco – yes, it is fried and yes, it is delicious. Second most popular is the chorizo taco. I also recommend the plantain chips with guac.
Do pay in cash and do not ask for utensils. You will have to wait in line, but it will be worth it.
