Rock Star Crystals

Amazing place but one of the old ladies who works there is spreading very bad energy so miserable, unhappy and annoyed never met anyone like this so if u do decide to go there be ready for her attitude , I really feel sorry for her

I love this place. Its been a while since Ive been there. I always found their prices reasonable, plus the owner would give us layaway. Got my first piece of green tourmaline there. My friend Jessica used to work there while she studied for pre-med. I hope she is well and everything is great at rock star.

First time at the store and I was greeted by a friendly older woman who asked if I would check my bags in, I declined at first and she explained it was the owners policy, so I complied and they were put on a hook behind the counter. I figure they must have a really bad theft problem if the owners need to make it a store policy. The store is marvelous and has a huge collection of minerals, some prices are high, but the pieces are beautiful. The younger woman behind the counter appeared very disinterested as she was on her cell phone almost the entire time I was there and I became nervous that she might have an app that scans for credit card information. Unfortunately, I felt very uncomfortable, so I left without making a purchase

Im already addicted to crystals and this store is like heaven to me. I absolutely adore it and will return again and again and agin to enhance my collection. Two thumbs up for their amazing collection!

Although there are not so many places in NY where you can buy some rocks and crystals, we are not talking about Diamonds, that you can buy in tons in diamond district, this is not the right place.

I was looking for some crystals from the NY area, and i found some Herkimer diamonds in this place, along with a lot of crystals mainly from south america (mexico and brazil).

This is not a street level shop, is a flat at the 2nd floor in Chelsea area.
There is a lot of stuff like pyrit balls, quartz skulls and so on, but also some good crystals, but everything is almost expensive.

Anyway, if you are in NY and you are looking for Herkimer diamonds you can find it at around 35$ each.
