We're new to the neighborhood and just finding our way around all the businesses in town, but wanted to share an amazing experience we just had with the Rock Ridge Pharmacy.
We always try to shop at the local small businesses instead of heading to the CVS / Target's of the world. So I thought we'd try out the Rock Ridge Pharmacy. My son's birthday party was this week and we stopped in to buy some helium balloons. (Dee at GrowCery kindly recommended them as a source)
They had run out helium, but were expecting more that day at 2:30. I bought the balloons with the agreement that I'd pick them up later inflated. When the driver with the helium had an accident and they were going to miss getting us the balloons in time for the party, they started calling around town and wound up driving across town to Perry's Florist to fill up the balloons for us.
It's worth pointing out that these were only 5 balloons and they had nothing to profit from doing this, they were just being helpful neighbors. I **GUARANTEE** no check-out person at the CVS would ever drive to another shop to pick something up for a customer.
I'm sold, and know which pharmacy we'll be shopping at from now on.
